Hello! from Maranguape

Well, this week was great! We nearly had a baptism, but Angela nees a little more time, and we met a bunch of new people, so this week is going to be busy! I am excited to see how things will turn out, and I am loving the time I have with my new companion, Elder Patino. He is from Columbus, Ohio.

I ran out of time again, so I will just have to explain things more "detalhado" next week! Hope you have a good one!

I am sad that he was replying to my email and it deleted itself...so I will have to wait until later to get any anwers to my weekly questions for him...This has only happened a few times while he has been in Brazil.

A few notes:
- We've heard that it's best to send pictures in packages; if you want to put a picture in a letter, print it out on normal printer paper so you can fold it up flat with your letter.
- You may want to put a picture or two of the Virgin Mary on the outside of any packages you send; that way, your box is less likely to be raided on its way to Reid.
- If you choose to send a package, only use the priority mail shipping boxes through the United States Postal Service (USPS). Any other method will cost you and Elder Empey quite a bit of money. If it won't fit in one of those boxes, it is probably best to give it to him when he returns home. thank you.
